Raggabund alongside Doctor Nativo! We know each other since long time and worked also together in Europe and Central America. Also unforgotten are all the great times we had at our concert-tours in Guatemala. We like Nativo’s vibes and his dive into Mayan spirituality. That’s why Raggabund & The Dubby Conquerors created this tune with him. The song SHAMÁN is a dedication to the spiritual leader of indigenous people throughout Latinamerica. So it’s a spiritual chant to face negativity and aggression in these times. Die Nachrichten auf diesem Globus werden immer beschissener. Viel kann man sich dazu auch nicht mehr äußern da einem die Worte fehlen, oder eh schon alles gesagt wurde. Was man aber tun kann ist sich solidarisch zeigen und den Flüchtenden beistehen durch Spenden und sonstige Hilfe. Der aktuelle Krieg in Europa ist eine Katastrophe. Alle Kriege sind eine Katastrophe, und nicht nur diejenigen vor unserer Haustür. Das sollte nicht vergessen werden. Was seit Jahren im Yemen oder in Syrien passiert ist nicht weniger schlimm. Diese Welt braucht keine weiteren Kriege und wir hoffen, dass das Leid in der Ukraine bald gestoppt wird. (Foto: Philipp Liebhart)

Once again Paco, Caramelo and The Dubby Conquerors merged their passion for deep Jamaican rhythms and sweet, danceable latinbeats. VOLVIÓ is a blend of organic sounds with handmade grooves & hooklines. The 5th single release of their upcoming all spanish album offers sunny Ska grooves with an enchanting, poetic love anthem. Inspired by Pablo Neruda, VOLVIÓ was written at tour in the Guatemaltecan coast town Livingston and offers the colorful flavors of the Caribbean and Latin America in one song.
